As the cast iron plate is double sided it’s entirely up to you to decide whether you want to cook your food on the smooth or ribbed surface. With a spacious 35 x 45 cm cooking area this cast iron plate provides you with more cooking opportunities where the only limit is your imagination - grilling like a pro has never been simpler!

The smooth side is perfect to use when you want to smash a burger, fry vegetables or make delicious pancakes for dessert. The ribbed side ensures your meat gets those characteristic grill marks while it’s browned thanks to the ridged design which helps separate the meat from its cooking juices. Therefore the ribbed side works just as well for vegetables, such as mushrooms and zucchini, which give off a lot of water. The ridges help lead away the water from the vegetables so it can evaporate faster which ensures you get a crispier result.
