Treat yourself to a Swedish-crafted chopping board made of durable oak with an exclusive design. It is made from end grain, which means the wood strips are glued with the fibers standing vertically. This allows the knife to meet the wood fibers in a gentle way, reducing wear on the blades and giving the cutting board a self-healing effect – the fibers close up after each cut.
This chopping board features a curved front edge that stop it from sliding around while using it on the counter of your outdoor kitchen. It measures 60 x 45 cm, giving you plenty of space for practising culinary creativity in your outdoor kitchen. As well as having an attractive, decorative design, the chopping board is easy to keep clean, making it an ideal charcuterie board or serving tray on which meats and vegetables can be chopped, sliced and arranged for serving to guests.

The wooden chopping board is not dishwasher safe, clean gently by washing with warm water and a little detergent, then allow to air dry. Do not soak the cutting board. It is pre-treated with food-grade paraffin oil, making it ready for immediate use. Oil your cutting board every 3-4 weeks or when it starts to lighten in color. For this, a food-safe oil such as rapeseed oil is recommended. We recommend storing the chopping board indoors in a dry place when you are not using your outdoor kitchen.

Which material you choose is up to you, but it is important that the products you place in your outdoor kitchen are made of durable materials. For this reason, most of our products are engineered from 304 grade SS steel. 304 grade SS steel is approved for contact with food and is the best material for outdoor kitchens. It is resistant to corrosion in fresh water and can withstand temperatures of up to 925 degrees. Since it is not magnetic, it does not attract dirt and particles and is therefore easy to keep clean. Where you want to place your outdoor kitchen is entirely up to you but it may be a good idea to place the outdoor kitchen in connection, or close to the house.
